Canadyne ShoreBarrier Boom is an air-inflatable boom employing a full-length
cylindrical buoyancy chamber. Hanging below the buoyancy chamber are a pair of
internally interconnected cylindrical ballast chambers that are filled with water.
The heavy ballast ensures a reliable seal in the intertidal area. Filling and
emptying of all chambers is accomplished through large valves located in each compartment.
